Thanks to the efforts made by the members at the Department of Economic Planning and Development, Faculty of Economics, and Department of Political Economy, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences (LPS), Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), the first International Winter School in Political Economy is being held at ATU in February 2021.
First Intl. Winter School held online with Russian universities

Thanks to the efforts made by the members at the Department of Economic Planning and Development, Faculty of Economics, and Department of Political Economy, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences (LPS), Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), the first International Winter School in Political Economy is being held at ATU in February 2021.

Co-organised by the LPS and Economics Faculties, the event takes place for two weeks and 8 universities and HE institutes from Iran together with 8 universities and HE institutes from Russia are contributing to it. A total of 392 lecturers, students, and researchers from 14 different countries have registered in the event. The countries include Russia (76 participants); Kazakhstan (14); Uzbekistan (10); India (16); Afghanistan (12); Turkey (5); Kyrgyzstan (2); Mexico (2); Bangladesh (1); Nigeria (1); Peru (1); Germany (1); Pakistan (1); and Iran (250).
